Monday Advice: Think Positive

It’s so easy for us to focus on the negative rather than the positive. But ask yourself this: do you live in a first world country? If you answered “Yes” to this question, than that should comfort you for a moment. Could you imagine not having instant access to your basic needs (internet included)?
If you answered “No” to this question, than I’m sorry. BUT, fear not! You can always find a way to relocate to a developed country. It won’t be easy, but truly believing you can is half the battle. Lots of people have managed to move from an unstable environment to more stable one, so why can’t you? Become a mail order bride (or husband?)!

Thanks to Jackass Letters for this great written piece of hilarity. I do agree that mushrooms are a real turn off when they get slimy. Eeek!
Ashanti’s “The Woman You Love”
This is my current R&B jam along with Melanie Fiona’s 4 AM. Glad to see Ashanti making a strong comeback with this song. I don’t feel Busta-Bust enhanced the track, and that’s no shade to him at all; I’ve been a fan of Busta Rhymes since he came out with “Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check“ in the 90s. I just feel when a music artist features someone on their track, that it should add some zest to it, not let it stay neutral, ya know? I think Busta’s energy is just too much for this particular song. For instance, when Kanye featured on Katy Perry’s song ET, it added to the song, made it bitchn’; without Yeezy’s verses, the song wouldn’t be as successful.
Anyway, I give all my best to Ashanti, and I hope her upcoming album does well
LOL of the Week
Another case of when touch screens go wrong, and your finger becomes a douche! I’m about to cry at this, I’m laughing so hard! Let this be a lesson to all of you with touch screens: take your damn time with selecting! I feel for this poor bastard, I really do, especially when something similar, but much less destructive, happened to me about a year ago
Ode to McDonald’s Shamrock Shake

Oh, Shamrock Shake, you make my body ache.
Sipping on your green goodness,
Is something I can hardly take.
Your minty flavor,
is so refreshing,
and hard to savor.
That sexy green dye,
is just enough,
to bring a tear to my eye.
Please stay past March,
oh cold treat of mine,
so my body won’t parch.
Shamrock Shake, you keep me alive,
with drops of blue 1,
and its partner,
yellow 5.
