Forgive my Spanish, it needs work, but you gotta give me a hand clap or two for trying!

If you don’t pay attention to what’s happening in hip-hop, then I guess you haven’t noticed that part of 2011 and 2012 have become the year of the female rapper.  With a lack of female spitters in the game, this trend, for lack of a better word (too lazy to use a thesaurus right now), is super visible.  With the undeniable success of Nicki Minaj, the likes of Kreayshawn, V-Nasty, Iggy Azalea, Azealia Banks, and whoever else I forgot to mention, comes a lady rapper  that I’ve takin’ a great fancy to–Snow Tha Product!

Another human recently put me on to her, after they saw her (I think, I wasn’t fully paying attention to this detail) at the SXSW event this year.  As I was socializing with this other human, they showed me her music video for Drunk Love, and I had to hear more from her, since I felt Drunk Love couldn’t be the best song she’s made, and I was right.

Bing and Google have become my partners in crime, and with their help, I downloaded a sample of STP’s latest mixtape, Unorthodox.  After hearing only the first three tracks, I bought the full version.  No regrets!  If you’re into hip-hop without the gimmicks with a touch of softness and a lot of fierce lyrics, along with rapid delivery, and a penchant for bilingual goodness, then Snow’s ya girl!

Be on the look out for Snow Tha Product aka Snow White!  She’ll be giving those other chicks a run for their dinero if the industry lets her do her thang, trust me on this!
